Alp Mercan, 2024 graduate of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, lost his life in an act of valor during the recent fire disaster at Bolu Kartalkaya. In his memory, the Department of Mechanical Engineering will host a ceremony during the 10th Industrial Graduation Projects Fair on Thursday, May 29, 2025. The ceremony will be followed by the presentation of the Alp Mercan Best Project Awards, which honor his legacy.
