The student council mid-year assembly general meeting was held on Wednesday, March 5, to fill the recently vacated student council seats. Aral Çağrı Yurtseven (IR), Oğuz Furkan Öymez (LAW) and Munise Sıla Göçer (PSYC) were elected as new members of the executive board.
Prior to this meeting, department student representative elections for vacant positions were held on February 24. The new department student representatives are: Asım Ocak (MATH), Duru Yıldız (COMD), Oğuz Furkan Öymez (LAW), Cevdet Cem Kılınç (POLS) and Ege Aksoy (EE).
While GRA department student representative Deniz Aksoy was elected as the new FADA faculty student representative, the newly elected LAW department student representative Oğuz Furkan Öymez will also serve as the LAW faculty student representative.
