BSO Marks 110th Anniversary of Prof. Doğramacı’s Birth 

The Bilkent Symphony Orchestra (BSO) gave a special concert on April 14 at the Bilkent Concert Hall to mark the 110th anniversary of the birth of Prof. İhsan Doğramacı, the founder of Bilkent University, who was a lifelong music lover. 

The performance, which began at 8 p.m., was conducted by Gürer Aykal, with pianist Gülsin Onay as the soloist. The program featured “Piano Concerto No. 2” by Camille Saint-Saëns and “Capriccio Italien, Op. 45” by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky. 

The event, attended by members of the Bilkent University community and music enthusiasts, was held in honor of Prof. Doğramacı’s significant contributions to education and the arts.
