The promotion competition for the Regional Basketball League and the Super League, organized by the Turkish University Sports Federation, has come to a successful conclusion. Featuring nearly 200 universities from across the country, the competition reached its final stage between April 28 and May 4 in Antalya.
Bilkent University’s men’s basketball team delivered an exceptional performance, securing a spot among the top four teams in the final rankings. This achievement earned the team a well-deserved promotion to the Basketball Super League for the upcoming season.
The Bilkent men’s basketball team members who participated in the competition are: Ahmet Gökay Kuyumcuoğlu (IAED), Akif Ertuğrul Öztürk (ARCH), Ali Tayan (ME), Arda Yiğit Özkan (LAW), Batıkan Aybey Ulu (EE), Burak Gülömür (MATH), Göktuğ Gökkaya (IE), Mehmet Ata Tümtürk (ME), Melih Ulu (IE), Orçun Yılmaz (EE), Ömer Dorukalp Özcan (PSYC), Sarp Özartam (IE), Uluç Bora Gürkan (POLS) and Samet Senai Işık (EE).
