On October 11, Bilkent University students and faculty members joined an on-site testing event of the CULTURATI platform at the Ankara Citadel, combining history, culture and digital innovation in a unique experiential learning activity.
The event was organized in collaboration with the Tourism Club and the Department of Tourism and Hotel Management as part of the EU-funded Horizon Europe Project CULTURATI, coordinated by Bilkent University. The project aims to enhance cultural heritage experiences through personalized digital routes and interactive games.
Participants enjoyed a guided tour of the Rahmi M. Koç Museum Ankara, led by Deniz Genç, museum manager, and Ezgi Kaya, museum educator. Their insights enriched the visit, helping participants connect with Ankara’s cultural heritage while exploring innovative ways to experience it through the CULTURATI application.
Asst. Prof. Eda Gürel, coordinator of the CULTURATI Project, and Arzu Sibel İkinci, training director of the project, guided students in testing the platform’s features on site. Students shared their feedback, contributing to the ongoing development of CULTURATI and its mission to connect culture, innovation and people across Europe.
