Dr. Ayşe Dicle Ergin ve Yeşim Köseoğlu’nun danışmanlığında Pelin Alan, Zeynep Balkan, Doğa Can, Merve Hatun Horuz ile İlayda Soysal’dan oluşan Hukuk Fakültesi Jessup Takımı, International Law Students Association (ILSA) tarafından düzenlenen 2026 Philip C. Jessup Uluslararası Hukuk Kurgusal Duruşma Yarışması Türkiye Elemeleri’nde Türkiye ikincisi oldu ve Washington D.C.’de yapılacak uluslararası turlara katılmaya hak kazandı. Takım üyelerimizden Pelin Alan “En İyi Sözlü Savunmacı”, İlayda Soysal ise “En İyi İkinci Sözlü Savunmacı” ödülünü kazandı.

Under the guidance of team coaches Dr. Ayşe Dicle Ergin and Yeşim Köseoğlu, the Bilkent Jessup Team, consisting of Pelin Alan, Zeynep Balkan, Doğa Can, Merve Hatun Horuz and İlayda Soysal, advanced to the finals of the 2026 Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition Turkish National Rounds organized by the International Law Students Association (ILSA) and finished as the runner-up team. With this achievement, the team was selected to participate as an exhibition team in the international rounds in Washington, D.C. Among the team members, Pelin Alan received the Best Pleader Award and İlayda Soysal received the Second-best Pleader Award from the judging panel.
