Assoc. Prof. Elif Küzeci of the Faculty of Law has been appointed as an Advisory Committee Member for the Principles for the Governance of Biometrics project of the European Law Institute, a joint initiative carried out in cooperation with the American Law Institute.
The project aims to develop clear principles for the ethical and lawful use of biometric technologies, addressing potential risks while ensuring the protection of fundamental rights. Bringing together interdisciplinary expertise, the initiative seeks to provide concise and practical guidance for policymakers and legislators in shaping future-oriented legal frameworks.
