What do you like best about Turkey?
The food and songs.
Are there any similarities between Turkey and your home country?
The rich cultural heritage and the welcome and warmth that Turkish people transmit. Also, the flavor of Turkish coffee is very similar to Neapolitan coffee (and this is not a simple thing).

I’ll miss the time I spend with the people I’ve met here.
In general, what I may miss most about Turkey is the adhan you hear everywhere. I love it.
What’s your favorite place on campus, and why?
The grass in front of 76 because the view in the evening is beautiful.
What’s your favorite Turkish food and/or favorite part of Turkish culture?
My favorite Turkish foods are köfte and baklava and of course kahve. As for culture, I love the fact that they always serve çay at the end of the meal.
Where do you expect to see yourself 10 years from now?
Working in a big hotel in my town, maybe as a manager.
What’s the hardest challenge you’ve handled in Turkey?
Outside of campus there are very few people that speak English. Another challenge was getting used to lunch and dinner times.
What places have you visited in Turkey, and which one is your favorite?
İstanbul, İzmir, Efes, Pamukkale, Antalya and some cities in Cappadocia (my favorite).
What’s an interesting question or comment you hear frequently at Bilkent/in Turkey?
The thing I hear most often is “afiyet olsun.”
Describe yourself in three words.
Ambitious, moody and stubborn. But I also have flaws.
