A collaborative event, “Acquisition of Measurement and Evaluation Concepts and Statistical Knowledge and Skills for the Evaluation of Exam Results in Higher Education,” has been organized by Asst. Prof. İlker Kalender, a faculty member of the Faculty of Education, within the scope of the TÜBİTAK 2237A Scientific Education Activities Support Program. This is the third occasion that this event has taken place, this time between September 16–19, at Bilkent.
Theoretical and practical lectures were given to research assistants and instructors from 17 different universities by measurement and evaluation professors from 10 different universities for four days.
The event aims to present the basic measurement and evaluation concepts and to provide the statistical skills required to correctly interpret and present the exam results at the higher education level.
