UNAM Asst. Prof. Fatih İnci was honored with the 2024 TÜSEB Aziz Sancar Incentive Award for his innovative disease diagnostic technologies and micro/nanoscale biomedical solutions. The event was held by the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Health and the Health Institutes of Türkiye (TÜSEB) on November 15–17, 2024, under the theme “Health in Disasters and the Future of Health.”
Dr. İnci develops ultra-sensitive sensors and microfluidic platforms aimed at diagnosing challenging diseases such as infectious diseases and cancer, addressing key issues in modern medicine. Additionally, by creating low-cost, easy-to-use diagnostic systems that provide fast and accurate results, he is making significant strides in combating health inequalities, leaving a global impact on health technologies and touching the lives of millions.
TÜSEB Aziz Sancar Incentive Awards are presented to leading scientists under the age of 40 who have proven their potential to contribute to science at an international level.
