Designed to take place outdoors, the step challenge is open to all Bilkent students. It challenges everyone to take at least 10,000 steps on the days they have chosen to make walking or running their exercise activity.
Participants will need to record the number of steps they have taken using the health app on their smartphone and then send a picture of the total, either daily, weekly or monthly, to spor@bilkent.edu.tr.
Participants are required to walk/run at least three and at most five times per week. They need to take at least 10,000 or more steps on each day they choose to exercise and will receive five points each time this is accomplished.
• 30 GE points for 60,000 steps
• 45 GE points for 90,000 steps
• 60 GE points for 120,000 steps
