Assistant Professors İbrahim Sarpkaya, Mustafa Ordu and Fatih İnci from Bilkent University’s National Nanotechnology Research Center (UNAM) were featured on TRT 1’s “Return to the Homeland” (Yurda Dönüş) program, where they share their inspiring stories of scientific pursuits abroad and their return to Türkiye.
After conducting groundbreaking research at some of the world’s most prestigious universities and research institutions—including Harvard, Stanford, Yale, Boston University and George Washington University—these scientists chose to return to Türkiye to continue their work at Bilkent.
In the program, Dr. Sarpkaya, Dr. Ordu and Dr. İnci share their personal and professional journeys, their passion for science and their contributions to the growing movement of reversing brain drain from Türkiye.
