The Horizon Europe research and innovation project CULTURATI – Customized Games and Routes for Cultural Heritage and Arts, funded by the European Union and coordinated by Dr. Eda Gürel, has completed its final review meeting. The project brought together 14 partners from six countries to enhance cultural heritage experiences through artificial intelligence, gamification and co-creation approaches.
The Bilkent University team played a key role in coordination, development and validation. The team included Prof. Halil Altay Güvenir as experiences researcher; Arzu Sibel İkinci as director of training and researcher; Neşe Şahin Özçelik as researcher; and Işın Nur Gürer as project assistant. The completion of the final review reflects the consortium’s collaboration throughout the project. CULTURATI has been nominated as a “Success Story” by both the Horizon Results Booster program and the project officer at the European Research Executive Agency.
