How often do you exercise?
I exercise five days a week.
How has regular exercise affected your life?
It clears my mind and makes me motivated throughout the day.
What do you suggest to those who are just taking up a sport or starting to exercise?
I have been doing fitness regularly for 1.5 years now. Even though you feel unmotivated, don’t give up. After three to four weeks it gets much easier.
What are the first three things that come to mind when you hear the word “sports”?
Health, improvement, feeling—the feeling that the body improves, and standing emotion too.
Which Bilkent sports facilities (sports halls, playing fields, tennis courts, etc.) do you use?
I use the Sports Halls, but I’ve been to the tennis courts and playing fields as well.
Have you taken any courses or participated in any activities (university teams, intramural tournaments, swim festivals, Zumba master classes, etc.)?
I took badminton classes for a period. Now, I dance with Bilkent Dance Community. I do contemporary dance. I’ve taken hip hop dance classes, and I do fitness, pilates and yoga on my own.
