Alper Çankaya, a 2017 graduate of the Department of Performing Arts, won the “Best Actor” award at the 42nd İstanbul Film Festival National Competition for his performance in Fikret Reyhan’s film, “Glass Curtain.”
The festival, which took place in İstanbul April 7 – 18, was organized by the Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts (İKSV). A total of 59 films competed in the festival’s national and international competitions.
After graduating from Bilkent, Çankaya founded Stage 367 with his classmates in 2017. In addition to his theater work, Çankaya has taken part in various films and series such as Vatanım Sensin, Söz Senettir, Çukur and Baba since 2018. He continues to take on new projects.
