Lecturer Jülide Akşiyote Görür was appointed as assistant chair of the Department of Communication and Design, effective December 1, 2023. Prof. Ceyhun Bulutay was appointed as chair of the Department of Physics, effective January 22, 2024. Prof. Bulutay took over the position from Prof. Mehmet Özgür Oktel.
