INFORMS Chicago Honors ECON Alumnus

Ubeyd Dincer, a 2022 graduate of the Department of Economics, has been awarded the “Student of the Year” prize by the INFORMS Chicago Chapter for a project titled, “Financial Burden of Stroke Patients Arriving at Non-Specialized Hospitals.” Currently completing his Master’s degree in Data Analytics at Loyola University Chicago, Dincer received the award in recognition of his analytical work in the healthcare field. The prize was presented as part of the INFORMS Chicago Chapter’s 2025 awards, which honor outstanding student contributions in operations research and analytics
